BERIVAN CEMAL - MENSWEAR

I discovered Berivan Cemal on Ivania Carpio's "Love Aesthetics" page which I follow religiously.

Berivan Cemal, (ArtEZ graduate) designed her first menswear collection as a nod to Kurdish marital traditions. Using no drawing to create the silhouettes, just square boxed shapes and the shape of the material she was working with, she has created a beautiful juxtaposition of street-wear luxe and traditional Kurdish prayer garments.

Wu Chi-Tsung DUST__Exhibition at Site Gallery Sheffield

Upon entering the pitch black room, I let my eyes adjust and focus on the soft projection in front of me. 

The light from the projector revealed every particle of dust in the air which brought the installation to life.

In the second room the light moved back and forth from one side of the room to the other. It created shadows and shapes which changed depending on where you were standing. 

A very peaceful and magical experience.
